Bilateral Relations with Luxembourg

The Maldives established diplomatic relations with the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg on 11 July 1988.

Ambassador of Maldives to the Kingdom Belgium and Head of the Mission to the European Union, Her Excellency Geela Ali, presented her  presented her Letters of Credence to His Royal Highness the Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume of Luxembourg as the Non-Resident Ambassador of Maldives to Luxembourg on 5 June 2025.

His Excellency Omar Abdul Razzak, resident in Belgium, presented his letter of Credence on 18 January 2023.

His Excellency Hassan Sobir, resident in Belgium, presented his letter of Credence on 5 October 2020. 

His Excellency Mr. Ahmed Shiaan, resident in Belgium, presented his Letter of Credence on 14 June 2017.

His Excellency Mr. Ali Hussain Didi, the first Ambassador of Maldives to Luxembourg, resident in Belgium, presented his Letter of Credence on 02 February 2012.
