The Embassy of Maldives in Belgium participated in the 14th edition of the Europe-Africa Investment Forum organized by Credassur Group (NGO) and held in Brussels on 4th October 2024.
Along with African countries, this year’s forum was also attended by countries from Aisa including the Maldives, Myanmar and Vietnam.
In her statement to the forum, Her Excellency Geela Ali, Ambassador of the Maldives to Belgium and the European Union, detailed the potential investment opportunities in the Maldives, specifically in the areas of renewable energy, waste management, mariculture, and tourism. Following her statement, the forum was also presented with a video presentation and brochures from Invest Maldives, which detailed the investment prospects of the country.
